The Art of Access: Why We Never Stop Practicing

They say dentistry is called a "practice" for a reason-we are forever students of the anatomy we treat. I'm sharing a collage of some recent access openings I've been working on, including an upper left molar (26), lower left molar (36), and upper left premolar (25)lower left molar (36)cases. While the goal is always a successful root canal, the real challenge lies in the first few millimeters: The Access Opening.
What I'm focusing on in my current practice:

The "De-roofing" Discipline: Ensuring the entire pulp chamber roof is removed to avoid missing hidden tissue or horns.

Straight-Line Path: Refining my technique to ensure files enter the canals without stress, reducing the risk of ledging or separation.

Every tooth is a new puzzle with its own unique canal configuration. No matter how many cases we see, there is always a new lesson in visibility, conservative tooth structure preservation, and precision.

To my fellow colleagues: What is one clinical "habit" or detail you are currently focusing on refining in your daily practice? #Dentistry #Endodontics #ContinuousLearning #RootCanal #ClinicalExcellence #DentistLife #ProfessionalGrowth
